5,884 MILES apart. 9 hours. Totally different countries and time zones and stuff going on and an entire ocean between us.
We actually never text, due to Emma not having any data in Austria & because the only time we get to talk is when Emma’s day is winding down and India’s is just starting. Whoever facetimes first usually is met with the other yelling “I WAS JUST ABOUT TO FACETIME YOU!”
Enjoy these screenshots of our time spent together from so far apart.
See you in June mi amor.
A sunny day in both Vegas and Vienna. India munched on a mango and we talked about our current obsessions & eating a rainbow a day. About 90% of our conversation consisted of fruit and the amount that we eat now since going vegan. 10 bananas a day is now normal.
New chakra chargers came in the mail at India’s house & we opened the packages together. She was charging her third eye chakra to try to communicate with me from so far away but our mental images weren’t sending well. I pictured a sweet potato and she received a mental image of the ocean.
Later Blaze & India watched Teahupoo surf competition, gasping, screaming, cheering, and gritting their teeth as surfers flirted with death on these unreal waves.
Impromptu group singing session of “my humps” complete with Blaze’s spastic dancing while brushing his teeth.
Usually when we Facetime, it is 9 at night in Vienna and just around lunchtime in Vegas. India was munching on a veggie bowl. She also got all of the crystal points & gemstones in the mail & was so excited to share. (if you want one email us at email@example.com or dm us on instagram)
Even though we can’t take bubble baths together from this far apart like we did in our Vegas Morning Routine, I still watch India do her yoga poses and pretend she is a fish in bubbly indigo waters. India tainted her tub with the Phoenix rising lush bath bomb and bubbled it up with the sugar plumb fairy by philosophy. I was on my fifth banana for the day and had just gotten done with a run.
Early morning for India. She cupped a huge mug of coffee and mid Facetime it started to pour down on her patio. She laid out in the rain and talked about how this was her favorite type of weather. A few cracks of thunder finally sent her back inside, clutching together her Mowgli sweatshirt.
India, Suede, and I all had our fun buns in and were jamming out to Black Bear. India sliced up some of the last of her watermelon chunks from watermelon island and looked like a psychopath. The track switched to “Obsessed” by Mariah Carey and India did a lovely choreographed dance and sang into the butcher knife.
Later started to thunderstorm in Vienna so we sat and listened to the thunder cackle and roll together. Rain is our favorite weather, when everything is peaceful and plants come alive. Something we can share on our most stressful days when we feel so far apart.
